Home to iPod to Office to iPod to Home....

Ok... I ripped >3000 songs from my home cd collection to my home computer and then synched them to my 30gb iPod. Now I'm at the office and I want to transfer all the songs from the iPod to my office computer. I've played around with EphPod for a while, but it seems like all the synching is always pc to iPod, and not iPod to pc. What am I missing here?

Why is it that as soon as I humble myself to ask a stupid question that I find the answer:FROM HELP FILE:
Select All Songs (Ctrl+Alt+A) - Selects all of the songs in the Song View. Useful for editing song information en masse.
Copy Songs to Directory - This option will copy the selected songs from your iPod to any directory of your choosing (on your PC or on a network, or elsewhere), and can use the song information (like Artist, Album, etc) to name the files you copy over.
I would, however, still like to figure out a way so that when I carry the iPod to the office that not only will it (1) automatically synch the songs on the office pc which are not on the iPod to the iPod, but also (2) automatically synch the songs on the iPod which are not on the office pc to the office pc. I will never rip music (or download) at the office. That will only happen at home. But I want to use the iPod to keep my office pc music collection on par with my home collection.

for the first question, under configure ephpod and under synch options just add the directory you want to sync you ipod to, you can have your at home directory and your office directory...im not sure abou the 2 question...neo7288 at 2007-11-15 17:23:43 >
