cant use playlists in alarm

hi everyone,
have this problem, that i can't set the alarm to play a playlist. the Pod sees the playlists in the alarm settings, but when I choose one, it still says "Beep", and it does indeed beep...
Anyone with same problems / solutions?
thanks,
Gergo

I've got the same problem - happens if I use MC9 or Ephpod - works perfectly though if I use ( gasp! ) music match!

Hope they (Ephpod and MC9 developers) sort this out! - It was one of the reasons I got an iPod (the alarm, not the bug :) ), and I'm loathe to use MM!

Mine does the same thing. I'm using a new 15GB with Ephpod on Win98se. I've tried everything to get it to sound an alarm with a playlist, but it doesn't work. It always says "beep" whenever I select a playlist.

*sigh*.. So buggy, this player..

Was the gen1 ipod this buggy when it first came out?
