EAC not ripping some tracks when MC will
anyone else have the same problems, or think i maybe have some setup issues?

don't know if you lot have problems with EAC ripping CD's but i'm having problems with some CD tracks with sync and read errors. the same tracks rip fine with mc8 on digital secure so i reckon i'll just rip with that from now on.
anyone else have the same problems, or think i maybe have some setup issues?

I've had this happen before, as have several others--I've gone to using MC9 to rip, and my EAC/LAME encoder used as an external encoder to encode (MC9 uses the LAME encoder too, but I prefer the 3.90.2 version, which is bundled with EAC/LAME).One suggestion--if you're using MC8, you might want to upgrade to MC9 so yo can synch--it works much better with the ipod than MC8...

thanks - i've setup mc8 to fire lame 3.90.2 rather than the later version, plus ephpod to sync with my ipod. that way (sounds cheap i know) i get all the best features for nada $s.peterodda at 2007-11-15 17:23:45 >
