Hey all --

Got my 15gb iPod 2 days ago and I absolutely love it!! Didn't bother using any software included except for the update.exe util to format the iPod. Then it was straight to EphPod 2.70a.

I've been seeing a couple of issue that I wanted to ask about to see if others have had similar experiences. It may just be beta software bugs -- or maybe not...dunno...here are the issues:

1) I specified my MP3s folder in the Config and when I hit Sync with iPod, even though I already have all my Mp3s on the iPod already, it redownloads them... I thought it was supposed to only scan for new Mp3s and transfer those but it seems to copy all the Mp3s all over again... is this a 2.70a bug? I haven't tried 2.60f...

2) Playlists -- after the weird syncing is done, EphPod auto-creates playlists according to genres... Great idea but when I close EphPod and disconnect my iPod from the computer, I only see 3 playlists -- +GEN Rock, which has even non-Rock tracks within, a BLANK playlist name with nothing inside, and finally the On-the-Go Playlist. I should be seeing tons more playlists according to what was listed in Ephpod but they aren't there. I made sure to save all changes to the iPod but still nothing... I am wondering whether this feautre might not work with OS 2.0?? Don't know... or maybe it works better in 2.60f?? Anyone with a new (3rd gen) iPod able to get this to work??

3) Last thing I saw seems to be an EphPod bug. If i am in the songs View (songs highlighted above) and I click the GENRE column header at the top so my songs are sorted by GENRE, and then I double click a file to play it in my default MP3 player (winamp in my case), the songs then RESORT according to how they were originally instead of staying sorted by genre... Anyone else seeing this??
