iSync To-Do
Hey, I'm new here and i was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the to-do feature on the new iPods? Does the iPod have to sync with a different program like Entourage for the to-do's or will it work with iSync and iCal? thanks :)

According to the new iPod's manual:
"You can only view to-do lists on iPod using iSync and iCal."
So, it certainly SHOULD work -- but why doesn't it? Anyone?

Apparently it's a known problem. Can't tell from this Apple document if they consider it a bug and will be fixing it in the next iSync or not, but we'll see:

TOPIC
iSync 1.0 does not sync To Do lists with the iPod (with Dock Connector).
DISCUSSION
Symptom
After syncing with iSync, the calendar and address book information appears on iPod, but To Do information does not.
Products affected
iPod (with Dock Connector)
iSync 1.0
Solution
iSync 1.0 does not synchronize To Do information with iPod (with Dock Connector). To work around this issue, make sure iPod can be used as a FireWire hard disk (see related document below). Then, instead of using iSync to sync calendar information with your iPod, follow these steps to export the calendar to iPod:
1. Open iCal.
2. Select the calendar you want to export to iPod.
3. Choose File > Export.
4. Navigate to the Calendars folder on iPod.
5. Name the calendar file and click Export.
The calendar should now appear on iPod with the To Do list information intact.

I don't think it's cool! :)
I hope Apple fixes this. The iCal/iSync works much better for me than I anticipated. If they can get the to-dos working, I may be able to ditch my Palm m130...
