i just purchased a new 30 gig iPod, plugged it into the dock, plugged the dock into the firewire port and?the iPod mounts on the computer, but does not show up in iTunes. i'm using X 10.1.5 on an iMac DV and iTunes 4. i really do not understand what the problem is. iTunes even launches when i plug the iPod into the computer! but i still can't put any music on it. what gives?
