Hi everyone. I've had a 30GB iPod for a while and I love it. I wanted to wipe it and sync it with another Mac, but I forgot that you're supposed to use iPod Updater for that type of thing. Now, after wiping the iPod with Disk Utility, the iPod no longer mounts on the desktop in spite of it showing up in both Disk Utility and the iPod Updater ("an iPod is connected but not mounted"). I tried opening iTunes, but that doesn't mount it either and I'm afraid to just pull my iPod out of the dock, because it says "Do not disconnect" on it with the flashing symbol.

What can I do to save my iPod and get things back to normal?
