iPod will not disconnect
A box comes up with a 'Files/programmes in use elsewhere' message.
Any ideas?

On the last couple of occasions when updating my iPod it will not disconnect when I click on the eject button in iTunes4 or when I close iTunes and move the iPod icon on desktop to trash.
A box comes up with a 'Files/programmes in use elsewhere' message.
Any ideas?

Do you have any files/folders on the iPod's firewire disc partition? Any Calendars open in iCal or Contacts open in Address Book?eustacescrubb at 2007-11-15 16:51:14 >

Is iTrip the software open when you try to disconnect? Next time before you disconnect, go to the Apple menu and run Force Quit to see if it shows up in the open software. If it does, close it.eustacescrubb at 2007-11-15 16:55:16 >
