I'm new to these boards, but I did a search and only came up with one similar topic, but didn't address the same exact problem. So I'm going to ask it here.

I just bought a new 30GB iPod and am using it with iTunes 4.0.1 on a dual 1Ghz PowerMac G4 Desktop. I'm using the latest version of OS X 10.2.

Here's the problem I'm having. Some of my albums are repeating several times. I look under Oingo Boingo and there are 2 albums that are repeated 5 times each. I manually deleted those albums from my iPod via iTunes. I then checked to see if those albums were gone and they were. I then updated the songs on my iPod again and sure enough those albums were repeated.

I checked my iTunes music library folder and those albums are only in there once each. I also checked the songs within those album folders to make sure that the songs were not repeated. They were not. This problem really baffles me. Can someone help with this? Thanks!
