My 30gig ipod is currently formatted for the windows platform. Now, I've decided to format it for osx. I downloaded the ipod software updater for osx and followed the directions. I installed the software and then I got a message telling me to plug in the ipod. I do so, and the screen on the ipod says "do not disconnect." But after I plug it in, the update and restore buttons aren't accessible. They are visible, but the buttons do not become active. What's going on? All I need to do is click restore and I think I'm set... Anyone know what's up? Thanks!
