Here's a weird thing I can't figure out.

Headphones on my 3rd generation 15GB iPod work fine; Apple's, Sony's etc. Both Left and Right channels work fine.

However, when I hooked up the iPod today to my work computer speakers the music only came through on one channel.

Then I used a cable with a headphone jack on one end and two RCA outputs to hook up the iPod to my stereo - again only one channel played through.

Any ideas on what's wrong - and more importantly how to fixt this?
