Tell Me Why to buy a Gen 3

I have a gen 2 20 GB iPod. I love it and use it constantly, which I am sure is a bit weird for an old man like me (I am 40).
I have looked at the gen 3's, and I like what has been done. But I am looking for a few reasons to upgrade. Any thoughts?

I have a Gen3, but it's my first iPod. You've seen the differences posted all over these forums I'm sure, but if none of them make you 'have to have' a new one, why spend that big chunk of money? I'd like a new model car every year, but I'd never think of it.
BTW, I'm 49 and I swear by my iPod (and MC9), aren't I allowed?

Bakerman,

I really don't see any reason to upgrade, unless the cash is just burning a hole in your pocket. The older models are just fine and dandy. I just bought a brand new 10Gb gen 2 from a girl on eBay for $230 shipped. What a deal!

BTW, I'm 42 and I use my iPod all the time at work. So, you're never too old. I see you're also in Williamsport. It's a small world, isn't it?

Thanks for the replies!

It sure is a small world, with another forum user right here in this small town :)
