randomising

i currently have a normal 'favourites' playlist, is thier any way of randomising it each time i play it. on the ipod too, but not choosing random songs in settings, cause i want to keep the albums in order when i play them.
It gets quite annoying when i have about 20 tracks and i always know whats coming next. Im not that used to smart playlists yet, is there a way of doing that with them.

There are two ways to do this. If your songs are in a static playlist, then just just click the "random" button while the playlist on the iPod is selected in iTunes.

Second way: with a Smart Playlist - select the iPod, go to File:Make New Smart Playlist. You'll be given a dialog that sets the parameters of the Smart Playlist. One is "Limit to xx songs at Random."
The xx can be changed, and "songs" can be made MB, GB, minutes, etc.
