Is there a way for comments in info to appear on ipod ?

Would'nt it be great to see your own comments on your ipod while your favorite tunes are playing ? Lets' say you want to remember who are all the musicians on a particular jazz piece, so you enter this info in the comments field in Itunes, but while away from your mac, you cannot see these comments, or can you ?

No, you can't. The best thing you can do it copy the info to empty Contacts or Notes.

The only useful thing that your iPod can do with comments is if you have created smart playlists that search for a word that is present (or absent) from the comments. I haven't yet, but I'll be putting a PMRC tag for any songs with profanity or otherwise questionable content, then creating "safe" smart playlists that have only songs that are suitable for all listeners. Don't want the infant learning bad words (from me)...

Perhaps in future firmware we could get access to ALL the tag info-year, composer, comments, etc.

What do you all think?

actually, the iPod can see the composer tags, it's just available only in the Browse menu.
