Question managing ITunes files
Since my firewire ports at my Cube died I've connected my 80 GB external HD full of tunes to my PB 12".
I bought Dougs fantastic iTunes Library Manager but still need to optimize the procedure
I've a smart playlist with my top 150 songs and just want to synchronize these files automatically to my internal Powerbook drive. So I have always the top 150 with me.
Any ideas?
thanks a lot
:)

# 1 Re: Question managing ITunes files
i am working on a script currently that handles the transfer of a playlist from one library to another.. its makes use of the file>export song list text file and copies any required files from one source to the other during the "import" process... if your playlist is created from files contained on the 80 Gb harddrive in one library and you want to then copy them over to the other library which runs off your internal drive then it can do this for you
pm me if interested in trying it out but it does require you to be ruinning os X as it makes use of a couple of perl modeules..
