Booq Podpaq 14

Hello. Finally upgraded from my 5 GB to the new 40GB. Now how to fill it!

I bought the Booq Podpaq 14 and don't know how I feel about it just yet. Nicely constructed and slick looking - doesn't have plastic to cover the screen and the removable belt clip looks like it could be easily broken... all for $40

Does anyone own this case? What are your thoughts?

I see that the iSkin is very popular on this forum, but are there any others that can be recommended? How about the xtreme mac case?

Many thanks!!!

I have the PodPaqNappa version, and I'm using the Shades screen protector (from Lajo) with it. No problem with removing the iPod from the case with that protector on it.

The Nappa has a different belt connector, so I can't comment on that.

The Nappa version has a very stable clip that does not swivel. It is very secure. I really like this case. It's the best one I've ever seen and I have had several others.

Agreed--

The Booq's clip is the sturdiest of all device clips I've seen. That includes my PDA cases, iSkin, etc.

BTW...
Those of you worrying about the screen and slightly loose fit, see this thread I posted yesterday:

I've got a Booq Podpaq 14 and I'm pretty pleased with it. I wish that the top of it had a bit more of a "hinge" to it to make it easier to open and close the front flap with the headphone jack plugged in. Other than that it fits my needs perfectly. (I some palm protective film on the display so I don't worry about scratches.)

I think the iSkin looks cooler, but I'm not sure it's as protective.
