I agree. I think the pearl is more rigid than my Electra Glow. It doesn't bounce around so much on the belt clip.

It's just as smooth, yeah, but the material seems a bit stronger, to me.

I have used 3 types of silicone and now that I have more control over what happens I have locked into this extremely high quality Japanese silicone. It is so nice to the touch, so soft that it purrs when you hold it in your hand. For those that own an eXo and compare it to another soft case you will know. I had this opportunity in Hong Kong, I will not mention the name of the producer but this case felt like the soles of my shoes are have walked for a few days on the back streets of China, it felt dry, lifeless and rigid.

Softness of silicone depends on the quality of silicone, on pigments added and on the cook time (silicone is cured under tremendous pressure and heat for 2 to 10 minute approx). If you do the numbers you will know that more time means the case will cost more and there will be few cases per day. I will soon have some blow by blow photos on how it all happens.

I still get **super ** excited when a rerun of Mr. Roger's Neighboorhood comes on and he visits a crayon factory, or a saran wrap factory, or a bottling company... you get the idea. I love to see how things are made... especially in large quantities.

It's a shame most of what I'd like to see is protected for competitive reasons, and we don't see more of it... It's cool that you plan on showing us the mold & process with photos. I'm excited.
