iskin exo suggestion?
this is specifically to Lajo: the touch wheel and the buttons are uncovered and they could get scratched..couldn't you make it so taht there is a thin layer overtop them? so that it wraps everything closely? for example: for the buttons, you'd have the silicone become very thing and inset where the buttons are, and fpr the wheel, you'd do the same thing as to have the case follow closely the surface of the ipod..
would this be any good?

A little window film could help in the meantime:

Now I have the film over the whole front, but in the photo, there is a clear screen protector in place.

Oh! It's just some smoke colored window film intended for a car window, cut to size.

Jim, do you have any issues with the residue on the car window film, or does it stick with static?
# 12 Re: iskin exo suggestion?
Static screen protectors are very inexpensive in China. It would be easy from me to provide them if there is enough of a demand. But you will have to accept the wet look (air bubbles inbetween the screen protector and your iPod screen), there is no way to get rid of them. The method I am using now will develope to a point that you will not see any air bubble the moment you put it on, now you need a little practice because the first time you put it on you will be tempted to apply pressure on the center of the screen protector, this forces the air out and then it take a while for the air to fill the space and get rid of the wet look on the edges.

The window film sticks with static, just like the little oil change decals. Zero residue.

That's right, I would not use any other type or you may end up with a problem
