Hard Case for iPod
I've been looking for a hard case for 3rd generation iPod, and the choices are few and far, I dont like the transparent plastic ones and I don't like the metal one that Dr.Bott is selling.
I noticed these Anodized Aluminum cases for PDA made by Innopocket (http://www.innopocket.com/EShop/Main/index.php)
they look cool and they are tight and best of all they offer so much protection from damage. I've read reviews of them, where people dropped it 5 feet from the ground on to concrete floor with out a single scratch.
Since I use the remote I don't need to use the buttons on the iPod.
I wonder if its possible to ask them to make iPod cases, I know I would buy it in a second and its so much thinner than the plastic one.

Well as of Jan 2005, innopocket has made metal cases for the 4G iPod. So now that they're out, does aynyone know if they are any good? My sister is looking to buy a case and I thought this one looked nice. Any feedback would be great.

Everyone said the iPod Armor offers GREAT protection. Mine is coming in the mail right now, so when it comes ill tell you how it is. The only bad thing...it was $65 total...

Hard case? Once more I have to suggest you use the Contour. It is really strong, I may think you may think I am an idiot for what I am about to tell you...I threw the showcase at the wall of my house with the ipod in it....No damage. I suggest you buy one, it shows ur ipod unlike the other cases.

Errr... why would you want to do that? ;)
Although the Showcase is a transparent (well parts of it is), I would also recommend it. It's a strong hard case that protects your iPod well, yet still manage to look good an isn't too bulky. As to anodize cases, they will still scratch because what an anodize case really has is just a aluminum oxide coating on top of the metal body. So it it subjected to sufficent abuse the coating will come off (which isn't too hard to do).
