Some pictures of Pearl eXo
Got my eXo Pearl and Ice today.
So i just loaded the Pearl skin and took some pictures. Hope You can see how it looks.
This is my third eXo, got the Martian before.
And as Lajo said in an other thread, that the pearl would look great with a coloured screen protector.
Well... i don't have any so You have to settle for the clear one on these pictures.
I'm very happy with both the Ice and the Pearl.
They are both keeping the "original" look of the iPod but Pearl adds a hint of "metallic silver" oily look (if You know what i mean)
It's hard to describe... hopefully You will see what I mean in the pictures.
And the Pearl saved me from tears today. I was about to show the Pearl to a friend when i dropped on the ground, my heart stopped. Picked it up, and it wasn't a scratch on the Pod. =)

Nice photos, thanks for doing what I was not able to do, in a few days pearl will be up on my site and there will be a few pearl colors like aqua pearl, pink pearl ?..and you will be able to see them with the colored screen protectors - iShades

Oooh...that is cool. I got my first iSkin today...just made a thread about it...Electra glow. And I definitely will be buying more. There is no better way to protect my iPod...this is awesome. If you're looking for any more testers, sign me up! ;)

Lucky you get to test a case. I would buy one but since im under 18 i cant get a credit card. There are student visas but im not old enough either. I guess i'll have to wait.
Still awsome cases lajo. Pearl looks awsome. Cant wait to see how the ishades look.

Thanks for taking the pics Snav. I was also a tester and I love my pearl. Does your pearl smell weird though? Mine smells like silly string or like a strong rubbery/plastic smell...Anyways I recomend pearl to anyone, but wait a few weeks until you can get the blue screen protector...

Lajo, what colors of screen protectors are available right now that best fit the pearl eXo? or i have to wait a few weeks as Infamouschitlin said? I'll definitely get a pearl... but dont wanna wait that long just for a screen protector. Would u sell just a screen protector alone when it comes out?

You will see all of the colors shortly. There are colors for pear and 7 colors for iShades (screen protectors). The white pearl will take any of these colors but a color like aqua pearl needs the caribbean blue screen protector. There is more but you have to wait until it goes online.

Hey Lajo,
I was just wondering if there are different colours of Perl in the works, like red or blue, or even black. Perl is pretty awesome BTW. At this point I am wondering how many exos I am going to end up owning, my friends already think I am sponsered :)

The pearl colors are here, I will have 4 colors to start with next week. They are in stock now and will be posted on my site next week along with iShades (colored screen protectors).

I guess i am the only one who thinks its ugly as hell...its reminds me too much of that silver glitter silly putty. I think Iwill be looking for another color...*sigh* all that anticipation for nothing...

That is the nice thing about art that it is not neutral and will affect different people in different ways, some times differences can be measured in gray and sometimes only in black and white.

Near as I can tell from the website, the Jade Pearl looks like a very nice color. But, like the other colors, it's still a bit bright for me.
Have you considered doing some darker and/or more neutral colors? I'd love to see a Hunter Green or Steel Grey (wouldn't that be pretty in the pearl effect?) eXo.
And, if you can do pearl effects, can you do wood grain? Imagine a family of iSkins available in shades of brown/beige/tan done in a woodgrain effect. Wouldn't that be cool looking!

Oooo, tie-dye. That brings back some short-term memory loss. ::giggle:: Ok, let's be really 60's... I mean silly... how about a glow-in-the-dark tie-dye? Now that, I would buy in a heartbeat. Despite my preference for the darker, more muted (sober? somber? adult? ::grin::) colors (hunter green, steel grey), this idea really trips my trigger. ::grin::

The swirls are being tested next week and the darker colors are coming too, so you are not far off the target.

You can count on me to test drive as well. That an interesting idea for the golf tees. They would probably be a lot more durable than wooden ones, plus they would bend like you said and reduce resistance. The question is how much would something like that cost compared to wooden tees which are relatively cheap.

i really dont know if i would like silicone tees. i really like the feeling of hitting a perfect drive and having the wooden tee pop out of the ground and fly a few feet in front of you pointing exactly where you hit it. thats one of the coolest things in golf. plus i love breaking tees with my driver when i slice it ;) interesting idea though, i would like to try it before i make any more judgements

I know what you mean about the wooden tees. I do not know how the silicone tee would react. The top would be silicone and the bottom would be some type of durable plastic. Yes I will be looking for lots of test for them when they come out.

At my golf course they have corn-starch teas that are remarkably better then the regular wooden ones.

I was just over at http://www.lajo.biz and there were some new Pearl exo colours added to the express order form, they are not available yet but black Pearl was there! I am so excited, I can't wait to get my hands on one. The other new colours for pearl that I noticed are indigo, lilac and yellow.

If you did not get your pearl to test drive it is because your iPod is a 30gb and the pearl of 30gb did not come in yet, the moment we get them yours will be DHL'd to you. I have not had a chance to check to see if it is here today because I am on my factory tour, I know they are finished manufacturing them but still have remove the access silicone before they are sent to us.

I'd be interested in the golf tee also - I play a few times a week, and am always looking for better ideas. Would they be the noormal length as well as the longer 2.5" or 3" tees?

i specified that i needed a 10/15 gig case, not the 30
