marware case owners....
i have the sport suit convertible, and while the interchanging clips are a great idea, i'm having a few problems. i have a 30gb pod and it doesn't seem to want to fit in the case very well. i always have to adjust it and it's starting to get to me.
but the main problem is that the case is melting onto the bottom edge of my pod!!!!!! wtf? is anyone else having this problem? how have you addressed it? thanks.

there is a black substance melted to the bottom back edge of my pod. i guess it's because there's no way for the heat to escape. whatever it is, it sucks.

I've got a 30gig iPod and use a sport suitconvertible. I too noticed the black substance when I first started using my case, but figured it was just a bit of the new case rubbing off on my iPod and simply removed the substance from my iPod and went about business as usual. It only happened to me the first couple times I used the case...I havn't had a problem since

I believe it is some type of glue. After a short while (and a few clean up of the iPod) there shouldn'T be any traces left.

I have a SportSuit convertible which I've had for a while now, no troubles...

still searching for the perfect sports case ... i just got my sportsuit convertible today and while i was excited about it before (great for sports, looks well made etc., etc.) i'm quite disappointed with it now.
firstly, while it looks great in pictures the workmanship is not as good as it appears. the top leatherette piece that holds the pod in place is flimsy. mine looks like it's about to tear already. my 40 gb ipod had a lot of trouble fitting into it and when i was trying to get it in there one of the side plastic inserts kept popping up. also, the side rubber grips on the outside aren't very hardy, you can already tell that they're going to rip up without too much trouble seeing how the stitching cuts into it. not to mention the glue on the inside that other people have mentioned -- yes it does get on your ipod. not a hazard but a pain.
secondly, the top velcro is problematic, it can get in the way and scratch up your ipod. thankfully i had put a "wrap" on it beforehand. the wrap might've made it slightly tighter than usual, but overall the fit is overly tight to begin with.
what i do like about it is: the adustable armband -- although i think the belt is much more practical, and the cover. the armband is comfortable and easy to adjust. and while slightly bulky, the cover does provide protection and you can store small items and headphones it it without any misshaping. also, compared with other sports cases on the market (speck, madsonline, goincase), this is the most compact. in the meantime, i'm going to send this back and keep looking.
