Marware Sportsuit Convertible 3G fit?
I just received my Marware Sportsuit Convertable (3G) case. I was a little surprised to find I really had to stretch things out a bit to get the holes to line up with the controls and everything seems to fit not quite symmetrically. Is this normal for these cases?
Thanks,
iRic

Do you have a 30Gb iPod or one of the smaller ones? I have a 15Gb and I have no problems with this, but it's snug and I could see how a 30Gb would be a tough fit.

Mine is a 30 GB. Are they the same case or does marware make a different one for the 30 GB iPods?
Thanks,

iric, Marware has a different one for the 30GB iPod. They actually ask you which iPod you own when you order by phone. That's how it happened in my case! I own a 10GB iPod and it does have a snug fit. My only gripe is the glue I found on my iPod coming most likely from the stiches section in the lower back inside the case. I cleaned the iPod and everything is fine so far though. I'm quite satisfied with the case so far in general.

There doesn't seem to be a choice between 10/15 and 30 models on Marware's site and I wasn't asked when I ordered from the ThinkDifferent store. Is yours a 2G or 3G iPod? Is it possible there's only one model for the 3G iPods and it has to stretch a bit to fit the 30 GB model since it's a little thicker?
I was a little disappointed with the stitching, actually. It seems to stick out a fair bit on the inside seams, which I think contributes a bit to the less than perfect fit. It would have been nicer if they stiched or taped it flat.

I have a 3G 10 GB iPod and I ordered directly from Marware. That might explain why they asked me and told me about two different sizes.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I'm going to e-mail the Think Different store and see if I can exchange it for the larger version.

Iric,
I am sorry to inform you that the SportSuit Convertible for the 3G iPod only comes in one size, that being fits all. I know it's snug with the 30 gb, but it works. We do make the CEO classic in 2 sizes, but nothing Neoprene...sorry! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Yes, that's what the ThinkDifferent store told me as well. I wanted the case for strapping to my arm while jogging, and figured the lid would be good for protecting it when I throw it into a bag and I can keep the remote in there. I think it will do. Hopefully the case will break-in somewhat over time.
There seem to be quite a few loose threads. I hope it doesn't fall apart with a bit of abuse...
Thanks,

Oops,
Iric..
Our products have a one-year warranty, so if your case has loose threads or damages then send it back and we'll replace it for you! Because you didn't buy it directly from US though, we'll need a copy of your receipt if you plan to exchange it so make sure you save it!

That seems reasonable. I'll save the receipt and the case (unless it falls apart :p)
