My iSkin review
The case itself is better than I expected. I was real worried that it would be real flimsy but its real nice. I was also expecting a flap that opened to slide the iPod in, but I like how you just slide it in the screen hole and stretch it. All the holes fit the iPod perfectly. I also checked for any defect in the silicon, but it seems to be good. My only complaint is the hold switch hole. Too small.
I don't use the belt clip, so I took the stub off. I'm so glad it had that option. The last case I bought wouldn't let me take the belt slip stub off so it was a real pain to get in and out of my pocket.
The material is real grippy, which is nice in the car. I don't have to worry about it sliding around when I make turns. It does make it a little harder to put in an out of my pocket. It also attracts lint. What is the best way to clean the iSkin? warm water and a little bit of soap?
Also, how sturdy is the iSkin to constantly taking the iPod in and out? I like to take the iSkin off when I charge it, but I don't want to risk ripping it when I put it on and take it off a lot.
The screen protector is cool. It's already got a scratch that my screen would normally have gotten. its real clingy to the iPod screen so it doesn't move around.
My only disappointment was the MacClear case that came with it. It has 2 holes where the seam didn't stay together. The zipper is also kind of flimsy. I just put my charger in there, though so it's not a problem. I really like the material of the MacClear, though. It's very pretty. When Lajo starts the next generation of MacClears, I'll probably buy one.
