I was surprised how well I could see the metal through case. It preserves the look of the iPod very well through the case. I wish I could have played with the different colours somewhere...I now wonder if I would have liked ice better!
I now feel much safer about carrying around my iPod. Hope you all enjoy the pictures and let me know if you'd like more...

I guess the guy on ebay advertised this wrong! I'm not mad if it is indeed Ice, but I'm very curious.

i think thinkdifferentstore/applelinks on ebay is selling ice as white frost. I just found out that my "white frost" was actually an ice (after having it for weeks). funny thing is that i bought 3 of these together and the other 2 came with the tag saying what color they were but the "white frost"/ice tag was missing.

definatly ice, i ordered a white frost from thinkdifferent a couple of weeks ago, after a little time on the forums(especially this one) I have came to realize that mine is an ice. I love it, I'm glad I didn't receive white frost.

BTW, just kidding. I'm not mad either, just a bit well...I dunno. Except to wonder what they'd say if I tried to return it. Has anyone contacted them about this? At the very least they should know they've got it wrong.

What he is saying that iSkin.com uses it as the same color but in fact they are not. There is no white frost with eXo.

Right. So white frost is distinctly different from ice? Because Think Different seems to think that they are one and the same. And they're claiming that you changed the name and they're identical.

i know, i know there is NO white frost. i think when people say white frost they actually mean frost. as in the original frost.
Still this doesn't change the fact that thinkdifferentstore sells frost and ice and sends out ice instead of frost. i wonder what happens when i order a frost and an ice... will i be getting 2 of the same item?

To post a picture, use the green "Post Reply" button at the bottom right of the last post, instead of the quick reply box. When you get to the reply page, you'll see a spot where you can attach an image.

As for ThinkDifferent, they definitely insist that frost is the same as ice. Let me just attach the text of the email I got from them:

Hey all, first post here, thought I'd jump in on this one. I plan to get an iPod in the next few weeks and will probably get an iSkin for it. These pics have been a great help. My question is about the little metal nub on the back for the clip. Does it come into contact with the metal back of the iPod? If it does, does it leave any scuff marks? Just curious, and thanks.

I just received my lilac pearl EXO skin today, to my disappointment, it's more blue... (pic attached shows outside and inside pix of it). It's pretty, just not the purple I was hoping for!! (I'm a purple freak!)

That is why I would like to see more retailers handle eXo, there is nothing better way to select a color

I agree. I already noticed one person today tried to start another one just like it, presumably because they didn't see this one.

So I finally got a 3G 20gb iPod last weekend, I ordered an iSkin Ice from ThinkDifferentStore.com. The case came in today and I thought I'd post a pic or two.

To Lajo...you've done an amazing job on this case! Absolutely beautiful, perfect compliment to the iPod. Now I see why people have been buying more than one, it's worth it. I'll probably wait for the xSkin when that comes out. Have you thought of making a skin for PDA's. I'd love to see one for my Dell Axim X5.

They're both a little yellow, but i put other pink stuff in there to help with the relative color issue. I tried unyellowing the pictures a bit in photoshop, but it always made the skin look way more blue-toned than it is. I think these are pretty accurate.

oh, and i can probably provide a blacklight picture. but i don't think it'll look like much with the bubblegum skin.

I dont really like it anymore. I used to like my aqua pearl but the colour doesn't suit me anymore. I dont like the lines in it.

Lajo, personally I love my pearl. Something about it just makes it that more interesting than the other skins. Sure does look pretty. :)

I'm not sure about the black light, but I know that using a fluorescent light works much better than incandescent.

when u click "post reply" u will see something called "attach file" on the bottom of the page right under options, hit browse and find the picture u want, then it will do the rest once u click "submit reply"

Hey lajo that case looks pretty cool, when are the hand painted ones comming out? I think that is a great idea, then it is more then a case its a piece of art.

I am just working on how to use the silicone paint. Interesting once you have painted the exo you have to put it into the oven for 10 mins at 200 degrees this is why I think painted exos will be hot

I think Jamaica looks best with the electra. Lemon looks cool with it too.

Does the owner of iskin.com recommend that we continue to use their current belt clip or should be stop using it until they produce their new belt clip?

You'll like the ICE. That one is my favorite exo. Keeps the original look of the ipod. You can't go wrong with that one. I think it's the highest selling one too. You can mix any color iShade for a cool effect!

Yes, it works flawlessly.

exo 2 is the new version, comes with silicone covering the buttons and scroll wheel, i have an exo1 and i prefer it without the silicone covering.

Only bad thing about the asphalt is that it attracts alot off felt and it gets dirty =/. I also have Blue and Green I shades.. I dont know their exact names because they are "test" colors, they didnt have the Jamaica I ordered instock so they were nice enough to send me those.

Hey, does anyone have personal pictures of Tropical Mist, especially as compared to Skylite? I'm trying to decide which 2 to pick up before the lajo deal ends on the 31st. I already have bubblegum and ice, and am looking for at least one aqua/blue and at least one glow color. Open to suggestions/recommendations from anyone who really loves (or hates) theirs, since I'm really indecisive! :) (btw, all the pics and info in this thread has already helped a ton!! thanks to all!!)
