maclear zip

Anyone using this getting these smudge marks on your ipod? I Don't use any other protector so I know it has to be the maclear.
Don't get me wrong I really love the simplicity of the maclear but this smudging thing is kinda getting to me.

On my wife's Maclear case a small blurry area began to appear near the top of the screen. I assumed it was from some sort of friction from her jacket or something. Then we both got exo cases for our iPods and haven't used the zip cases much. She then decided to put her zip case back on and the blurry spot has disappeared. Now I'm wondering if it was moisture. Have you checked that?

You have to clean the inside of your case, I suggest washing it and then polish the inside with a cotton cloth. When you put the case on your iPod you will notice that there is next to no movement of your iPod inside of the case. If there is a little dust inside of your case it may be able to cause marking. The 3rd gen iPod will scratch plastic will scratch just by looking at it. A plastic company in Boan China told me that there is a plastic in the market place that extremely hard to scratch. I was thinking that it the shell is not too difficult to remove I would make that shell so that you could replace it like you can with your mobile phone.

Zip will have a new soft TPU skin soon. I am just testing it now. It will be thinner and it will also have stretch to it.

Keep me posted on the marking.

oh I forgot to mention I have the 2nd gen maclear the one meant to house the ipod with the exo on. So its not a tight fit without the exo on the ipod. There is room for the ipod to move. I'm guessing thats how the marks appear, when the ipod is moving around it rubs against the maclear. Maybe with the tighter maclear it won't be smudging since it fits the ipod like a glove.

Guess its time for me to get some iCleaner.

You need to use the case built for your iPod. The one that is given away free with eXo is designed for cables and for putting your iPod eXoed in when you go traveling or at night.
