iSkin eXo and Macclear case combo--great for running
Since I run frequently and also mow yards, I am concerned about having enough protection and comfort while using my iPod. I tried running with the provided black Apple case, but it would bounce around if I clipped it onto my shorts, and it was too bulky to hold in my hand. So I tried running without the case, but that definitely didn't work--all that sweat may eventually creep into the iPod and ruin it. So I just bought my iSkin eXo, which came with the Macclear case. What a perfect combo for running...
Since the eXo doesn't have a screen protector yet, I just put the Macclear case over the eXo, and I'm set to go. I zip the two zippers up to the top, leaving an opening for the headphone wire. It solves the sweat problem, because you aren't technically touching the iPod...just the Macclear case. So it's twice protected, it keeps the sweat out, and it's not too bulky to hold in your hand. Even when the screen protector comes, I'll still probably use the Macclear case, because the buttons and wheel might get all sweaty still. The only thing is that the Macclear case gets kinda sticky and hazy (on the outside) from the sweat, but that's no big deal to clean off.
Kudos to the ThinkDifferentStore!

I am working on 2 new case designs for joggers one from silicone and the other from TPU. I love sports and I have a feel for what type of case you would need to wear so that your iPod will mold to your body and allow you to wear it while participating in a active sport, like jogging, skating, hockey, skiing, working out in the gym etc. zip is a great case to take your iPod to the beach with, good protection from the sand. Lets face it we buy our toys to take with use wherever we go.

That's awesome Lajo, and very true also.
I'm always available to do some prototype reviews/be a tester for these new cases if you need people...especially since they are aimed at those who are very active. Plus, I start college tomorrow, so I'll be just a poor college kid, who like you said, needs his toys to take with him wherever he goes. I'll be playing college soccer more than likely, and intramurals too, so I guess that counts as being active? :)

What is needed, is a case that has a clip similar to the iskin on the back. With it comes the arm band, the belt, and the wrist/had band. It should be made a neoprene also. Neoprene is the stuff that they make dive suits out of. It gets wet and drys quickly, it is not slippery, so the pod will not slip out of ones hands, but the downside is that it does keep things hot. It might make the ipod to hot for its own comfort.

Because our competition is always watching I can not reveal the way I will handle the sport version of silicone, TPU, man made fabrics and leather cases. All I can say is that no one has done it the way I am designing it, it could be a smashing hit and by the time my competitors try to duplicate it it will be too late to catch up.
