just got the macclear case

I got a maclear case too. (w/ belt clip) Looks nice. Took me a bit of time to scrunch my iPod in there... it's tight! (but that's a good thing, yes?). I had trouble with the corners wanting to be concave, but kept pushing them out as I was putting the iPod in... Looks good now.
I like the thickness of the maclear-- it's fairly high quality plastic.
The plastic is relatively shiny, too-- which (as per Lajo's suggestion) tends to hide most of the smaller scratches on the back.
Overall, it's good for the cheap price. I'm not sure I'd be confident hanging something that bare on my belt though.
I now have two degrees of protection in cases I like:
Light: MaClear
Medium: Booq PodPaq014
Someday I'll get an iPod armor to satisfy the Heavy protection requirement for travelling. As it is though, I've spent enough money on cases lately (not to mention the whole iPod package) ;-)
