Using buttons with iSkin exo
Just got the iSkin EXO Carribean Blue today - love it!! It's a very well made case and a great color. The only problem I have is that I'm not able to get the buttons to respond very well with the case on :( With it off they work great of course. The height of the case and ridges near the buttons seems to have an effect on this. Anyone else having this problem? Any tips on how to get the buttons to respond better with the case on?

You should not be having any problems. Which botton does not work well? Maybe try washing the case first and then try it again.

Well, it varies - it seems the Play button the most, but all of them have been affected. It is very possible my iPod is at fault, but if I take off the case it works fine. It just doesn't seem to work unless my entire finger is covering the button. Of course I have the problem where some buttons don't respond too well sometimes - but with the case on it just seemed a bit harder. It's very possible it's just me :)

I actually like the way the iPods buttons function better with the iSkin on. They are harder to push and you can't really do it accidently. Try to get your finger into the opening. Don't use your finger nail or anything, it wont work.

try pointing your finger more perpendicular to the ipod... ie, instead of using the flat of your finger, use the tip.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did try using the tip of my finger and it works a little better. It's very strange, though. I take the iskins off and the buttons work flawlessly everytime - a light press, just like designed. With the iSkin it just seems like I have to really get the finger in the right area before it will activate. Really having a problem with it just because it's much harder to use now. Don't understand why other than with the iskin holes you don't get quite as much surface area of the finger on the button. That's the only thing I can think of...
