I knew that this would happen. These #######s just sent out a few iskins without screen protectors to hush them up, and buy themselves more time until they could ship them out with the screen protectors. I stated from day 1 of their "we're going to send them out without the screen protectors" BS, if you read some of my earlier posts. They are trying to save a few bucks off each order by waiting. I'm willing to bet that they have plenty of iskins in their warehouses, but just wanted to wait until they could send everything in one package, in order to make a few extra bucks at the cost of their customers. We should all go and report these fools to the BBB (Better Business Bureau), and leave them terrible feedbacks where ever we can. I for one will bash them terribly on any site, and recommend that no one EVER buys anything from them. I'm normally not this hateful, but with customer service like this, they deserve to go out of business. I furious that I even have to come onto a website to write this jibberish, but I'm sure that many people who have defended them until now, have seen iskin.com for what they really are.

I love quotes like this for many reasons. One I just like to see somebodies blood pressure rise just because one little thing in thier life doesnt work out. Were talking about 30 bucks. Not your house just got washed away in a flood. If you have such a big problem with it dont buy the product.

It is true that Iskin.com did fall short on thier promise. So what?? Do you think the BBB is going to care? Currently from posts on this forum Iskin has done refunds and at least posted something about the issue on thier site. If you consider this to be signs of a shady business out to rip off customers you truly are a child.

First of all, no the BBB isn't going to care. Potential customers that take the time to research companies are going to care.
Secondly, it's not the actual refunds that are problematic. It's the loops you have to jump through just to get the refund. This includes the general unresponsiveness that I, and others have met. What company requires three emails and 10 days to process a refund? And that is from my personal experience. That doesn't even include a fourth email I fired off threatening them to NOT send me the item after a refund was promised.
Just because you can deal with the situation doesn't mean that anyone else that can't is beneath you. You do not have to resort to name calling.

What company requires 10 days for a refund? Oh let me think..would a internet startup that only services a small niche group qaulify? This is not your neighborhood best buy. You cant just walk in and get a refund. Once again if you think your going to get the same speed of service from Iskin as you get from some local vendor you are a child.

To add to this you complain about a measily 10 days. If you told the BBB that, they would ask you why you are wasting our time. They will tell you of the horror stories of companies who dont give refunds, who dont contact customers, who will give excuses again and again, and these are major companies. IE Microsoft. Look if you want to bash a company for bad customer service fine go ahead. Its your right as an american(if your an american) to say whatever you want. However the fact is that Iskin after a long delay is delivering what they promised, they are giving refunds if you want it, and from the posts of thier employees I only see that they want to help us.

So to you I say goodbye and if I see a special on baby powder I will let you know.

# 6 Re: update on iskin.com website...
The main reason I am upset with this online vendor for not meeting their scheduled delivery date is that I am an enthusiast for music, electrical devices, and related toys (i.e. the iSkin). I want my toys when promised!! Does this make me a huge, raging dork?...Yes.

I was planning on my iSkin at a specific time, and to not receive when advertised is at the very least, annoying. As well as to hear that other people have gone elsewhere and already received them componds the anger.

Does complaining about it on this message board make me feel better, YES. The importance of these posts is that other enthusiast can read these posts and make decisions on where they want to purchase their products.

For those who don't care about such things, GET THE !@#$ out of hear and quit with your deragatory posts.

...of course, as an American this is only my opinion... ;)

Now Magic, look at your post then look at cklinh's post. Notice a small difference? You make a legitimite complaint but you dont threaten world war 3.

Actually, yeah, it was me who originally used the word "princess" though it was tossed around quite a bit after that. I'm not screaming mad, just annoyed. I am not starting campaigns to destroy iskin.com, I'm just trying to be patient. Thought I'd pass along the latest info.

BTW, I emailed them regarding a possible refund if shipment wasn't going to occur anytime soon & they responded *the next day*. I honestly can't complain about that. If you're curious, here's the email they sent me:

our factory that includes the MaClear pouches and screen protectors. We
anticipate to receive that package on Friday the 15th, or Monday the 18th.
We will definitely ship out your order when we receive that package.

Taskman...I don't think you understood me correctly. You say that iskin.com fell short of their promise? That is the understatment of the year. They flat out lied to most of us, who took it upon ourselves to trust them by "pre-ordering" early. They even put up an update on their site, that stated that they would be shipping out the iskins without the screen protectors. Now if you read the most current update, you will see the contradiction..."we are waiting for the screen protectors and will be sending out everything together." A selecet few lucky customers have already recieved them without the screen protectors, but in order to make a few extra bucks off of unsuspecting customers, they quickly changed their tactics. You may be naive enough to believe their lies, but I for one (and many others on this site) are more savvy than that. We know when we're getting shafted, and in this instance, that shaft is a 10ft pole. Don't mock me saying that I'm getting my panties in a bunch for no reason when I post stuff like this. I feel that it is my right, and even my duty to do so. I want to spread the word, so no other unsuspecting potential customers will waste their time in ordering from these clowns. If you have a bad experience with an ipod related product, or company...and don't post about it here, then you are doing all of us a disservice, and don't belong here. Thanks for trying to make me look like an idiot...but in the future, keep that crap to yourself.

Before you call me an idiot mabye you should look at the posts in this forum. Had you done so you would see that everyone who as ordered from thinkdifferentstore.com have recieved thier order within two days. Including me. White Frost is cool! So now that you have your refund after waiting for 10 agonizing days you can join all the other "idiots" and get an iskin from thinkdifferentstore.com. Truly your fun. So my questions is if iskin is trying to rip you off how come thinkdifferentstore is sitting on a pile of iskins?

Anyway what your failing to see is that I am not trying to excuse the fact that iskin missed its date. Even though this is a very common occurence among major companies. Dvds, games, clothes, electronics, even a new food products are delayed all the time. What I am trying to say is that out of the billions of things you could spend time complaining about you choose iskin and when I say complain I am being a little light. You sound like your frothing at the mouth. Its cool to be upset about iskin. I would be to had I pre-ordered. However I wouldnt lose my head and threaten to go and tell the world how much iskin sucks. Iskin is a good company from what I have seen, the product is definitly good and the only thing rotten going on here is your attitude.
