Just curious to know how many people requested/received a refund from iskin.com with regard to the eXo 'skins?

Call it stubborness, masochism, blind lunacy, or a major character defect, but I'm not cancelling my order with iskin.com. I will not back down--no retreat-- only one of us will be left standing at end of this. We have met the enemy and it is iskin.com. I am the not-so-flabby Schwartznegger, the Delta Force, Death from Above, and possibly Don Quixote.I will slip across the Canadian border in full stealth mode and commence tactical operations on iskin.com at 0300 hours. I will go medieval on their shipping system and liberate my White Frost Exo. I did. At first they wouldn't give me a refund(something bogus about thier paypal connection being down). I then called them back and got a refund in 15 minutes. I then ordered from think different store and I got it in 2 days in carribean blue.Unknown_One at 2007-11-15 15:48:15 >

Emailed them 5 times to no avail. Startedd a dispute with Paypal and got my refund within 48 hours.Yes, I got a refund and couldn't be happier. Never again will I deal with this company.

well three emails and a call to their headquarters later and i still dont have my money back nor my iskin. i ordered one today from thinkdifferentstore and guess what, it even got shipped out today! awesome awesome job with that. hopefully ill have my iskin by friday and my money by who knows when. i plan on calling them two times a day until they refund me. persistance seems like the only thing that gets you anywhere with this companybb_dg at 2007-11-15 15:54:18 >

well 4 emails, three phone calls and 4 days later, i got a partial refund. iskin.com gave me 29.99 like i paid but of course paypal takes 5% which equals 1.47. now, when i was on the phone with acknowledge, andy assured me that i would not be charged the paypal fee... looks like he was wrong. i dont think i should be responsible for this fee... iskin.com chose to go through paypal, not me. but, i dont think 1.47 is worth my time or any more frustration. grr. hopefully my iskin from thinkdifferentstore will be in my mailbox tomorrowbb_dg at 2007-11-15 15:55:16 >

actually, it's 2.9% + $.30. the reason you were charaged the free is because somewhere along the line of your paypal history, you accepted money via a credit card. therefore, paypal automatically makes your account a "business/premier account". and from then on, no matter how they pay you, paypal will always take 2.9% + $.30. this is why many people have two accounts, one for credit cards, and one for everything else. anyway, they assumed you had a "personal" account and they payed you from either their balance or instant transfer from their bank, but paypal took the the fee because of your account type.
explain that too them and have them refund you the $1.81 (1.47 - $.30 - 2.9% ;) )
