Speck case
My first impressions of the case are very good. I got home (I had the case shipped to me at work) and I immediately took my iPod out of the box and removed the plastic wrap (I had this iPod for two weeks without touching it!). It slipped snugly into the case with no problems and all the buttons and opening aligned perfectly. I've had no problems with any of the functions and that includes the hold switch on top. The top of the iPod is the most exposed with this case but as I take a good look at my older first gen iPod (5 GB), the scratches on it are mainly on the face, not the top.
I've read a couple of people's reprts that this case will not hold the 10/15 GB iPods snugly, but I don't see a problem with that at all. My 'Pod is being held nice and firm in it's new, and permanent, home.
I was originally a little worried about the opening at the back to allow the until to be docked in the cradle, but it has a little tab inside the case that lines up with the charging slot on the iPod and that helps hold everything together nicely. Even if that little tab weren't there, it would still only open a hair leaving a VERY minimal part of the back exposed. By minimal, I mean a dime would fit into the space. I don't have a cradle and have no intentions on getting one so I can't say how it works with that.
All in all I'm very happy with my Speck case and the only thing I need to get is one of those Palm screen protectors for the screen which is exposed. I would buy this product again.
