do these petitions actually work??

If you got a refund and decide to get a different product I would write Iskin and say how unsatisfied you were with them and mention the product you got instead.. this will hurt them and make them try to make their customers happier..

i just got a refund from them and ordered from thinkdifferentstore.com, they shipped it the same day. Should be getting it soon, you should try to get a refund too.

Just for the record, I think some of you guys are overreacting. If you aren't satisfied with the service you get from iskin.com, get your refund and don't shop there. There are plenty of worse stores on the internet (and out in the real world). At least you are getting your refunds.

It would be criminal and FRAUD if these people didn't get their refund and there are at the same tokem plenty of better places to purchase...

there are enough store that are worse, but i do some research about the store before placing an order. And I am not dissatisfied really with their service. They just couldnt ship it on time, so i cancelled the order and got it from a different store.

They are thinking about shipping iskins without the screen protectors and shipping it later.

But from what I hear, iskin.com IS giving people refunds & has been very polite & civil about the whole thing. No criminal or fraudulent behavior. No point to getting crazy. Just get your money back & buy somewhere else. You don't have to be mean about it. Take your business elsewhere, that's the worst you could do to iskin.com.

True, they have been polite, but they don't answer emails pertaining to refunds. When I later emailed them back about not needing a refund anymore [since they weren't gonna give me the refund, anyways], they replied within a couple of hours.

they have been polite because they are using computer-generated messages...

I was referring more to the people that actually called the company & requested refunds. I think if one wanted a refund, it would be more effective if you called since I'm sure they are simply flooded with emails about this & do not have the resources to deal with each customer quickly. If I was seeking a refund, I wouldn't do it by email, I would definitely call them.

RESEARCH where you buy from..

www.epinions.com
www.bizrate.com <--particulary a good place
www.bbb.org

www.planetfeedback.com <-- useful to file formal complaints/praises to various places

EXACTLY!
Don't shop there if you're not happy and don't buy their products - it's that easy.
If any is not getting a refund, call your credit card company and dispute the charge. I don't understand how ISkin can get away with charging people before they ship. Sounds like they desperately need the cash to keep up with production so they're using your prepayments as a free loan.

Nope, wasn't directed at anyone in particular. :)
Just a comment. Some people are a little more irate than others. Not pointing fingers, just making observations.
