Jam Jacket

I purchased the Jam Jacket as an alternative to the EXO Iskin (I didn't want to wait)

...Well... I dislike it...

I purchased this from ChumpUsa for 19.99 had it for a few days... It doesn't add too much bulk to the item howeveryou have to be cautious with the top of the case...They easily fold over exposing the ipod to possible damage...

also the control button are hard to reach..they feel very Deep with the case on so you really have to jam your fingers in them...

I will I guess place an order for the Iskin and hopes that it comes soon.. :)

i really like my case, I bought it at compusa today and it really works well for me. It does not attract nearly as much dust as that #### iSkin. I washed it with some soap like 3 or 4 times and it does not attracts hardly anthing now. Its pretty protective. I am not worried about scratching (got over that pretty quickly), but it seems like it will keep it pretty nice. The buttons are a little hard to hit *sometimes*, but its definately not a problem. I would reccomend it over the iSkin because its about 10-15 bucks cheaper and it does not attract as much crap as the iskins do.

the jam jacket doesn't have a screenprotector, a beltclip and a free maclear pouch however. Also, the iskin protects the ipod even on the top so it is impossible to fall out if it is dropped.

ok...lol, its not gonna fall out if its dropped...dont be so dramatic. and your right, it does not have the screen protector(however, none of you who have gotton yours dont have it either...lol), and there is no belt clip or pouch. I would just reccomend it to anyone who does not want to spend 30-40 on the eXo...

I am going to change my tune a bit..I had this for a few days now and I am growing to love it..

I mentions about having to reach for the buttons,, its not that bad and even better I notice that I don;t have to put the Ipod on hold as much with this case on ... I like that ;)

Also the issue with the top of the case being exposed... ..not a problem..the case fits very snug so it will not slip out...
I guess there is an issue with the Exo getting dirty easily..The jam Jacket is silicon as well but seems to stay clean ..

It would of been great to have the Iskin BUT.... for those that need the protection now I would get this... :)

I know this is some major backpedaling but now that I had a few days with the product I can say in fairness that I like it...

Jam Jackets are also made with latex, those who have allergies might want to go with the iSkin eXo since it's a silicone product.

I emailed everythingipod.com & this is the email response I got back:

"From: Customer Service <customerservice@everythingipod.com>

Subject: Re: www.everythingipod.com Inquiry

Hi Christina,

I apologize for the delay in getting back to your question, but some
research had to be done in order ton provide you with an accurate answer.
However, to no avail, we were informed that there is latex in the jam
jackets. Our action jacket and leather cases do not contain latex if those
interest you.

If we can be of any more assistance, please let us know."

I had contacted various companies to inquire because I'm sensitive to latex -- an important factor, I think! I'm sure it's a silicone/latex blend, but the iskin is 100% silicone. Hope this info helps.

Thats interesting about the latex, is that the reason it attracts a great deal less dust than the iSkin? Anyways, I was wondering if anyone bought the aqua colored jam jacket? I was interested in maybe getting that color as well, and I was thinking that maybe getting that too if it looked decent. Any help would be appreciated!!!
