It is about time someone started shipping these in the UK...I ordered from a UK seller a while ago and am still waiting. If I had known it was going to take so long I would have just ordered from a US store or Lajo.biz itself.

As a matter of interest, how much are you paying for your UK iSkin ?

I had a look at prices about a month ago and the UK distributors were way more expensive than ordering from the U.S. even with shipping costs included. I've seen an Exo iSkin for about 22 UK pounds (including shipping) from the US. The cheapest I found in the UK was about 30 UKP.

I didn't really think about the price when I ordered but looking at it now I wonder how on earth they can conspire to charge me 9 quid for shipping? That nine quid has done nothing other get me a 4 week wait...I should go back and check that I didn't specify some kind of gold plated delivery service, express delivery does seem rather stupid having waited a month already.

The one I ordered off Lajo's site has cost me a grand total of $35 and that is with shipping from Hong Kong I presume and I just received a mail to let me know I should have it in the next 24 hours. It looks like I will receive it within 2 days of order for 2/3rds of the price.

I would go directly to Lajo's site as the response is very quick and he has set up a distributor in the UK.

My previous order was with www.MacBazaar.co.uk and though they are very polite and answer mails it would seem that they have been waiting to build up a large number of preorders before actually taking delivery ( my speculation). Whatever the reason I have been waiting a long time and they are charging 35 quid against the $35 charge going firect to Lajo.

That is exactly what I did, I didn't have a pay pal account but somehow one was created for me along the way and I was able to pay with my credit card. Very quick, easy and intuitive. Plenty of feedback and instant confirmation emails. Exactly as it shoudl be really.

The only remaining piece of the puzzle will be the arrival of the skin which with a bit of luck should arrive before the w/e. I'll let you know when it does though even if it does arrive today or tomorrow I won't be able to pick it up from the post office until saturday because of work and the "signature required" bit.

Let me answer that for you - ice is the most transparent, it has no color added to the silicone, frost has some white added to it

Looks like that answers your question! I couldn't really have answered your question anyway as I have yet to see one. I went for what I thought was the intermediate choice with frost, not totally white and not completely see through which seems to be about right after reading what Lajo just said.

The one I really want to see is the asphalt one I ordered from another company before I knew any better. I think that one i will look the mutt's nuts!

Just received my Ice case this morning (Monday) and it looks absolutely great! Really impressed with the speed that it got here - I ordered on Thursday, and ordered the wrong sort - thanks a lot for sorting it out and getting it to me so quickly (its my birthday tomorrow, and my gf now insists that its from her, so i cant officially have it till then! grrrrrr!)

Glad to say that I now hold in the UK the complete range of iSKin eXo/zip stock that Lajo currently has available (unless Lajo has done his creative thing and made available a new colour in the last hour :) )

This locally held stock will allow for a very quick delivery of all items - aiming for same day dispatch for items ordered before 1pm.

Orders should be made via www.lajo.biz (http://www.lajo.biz) and those from the UK will automatically be funnelled to me.

My new website is 90% done and will be open hopefully in the next week. I should not bother going there yet but it will be www.iSkinWorld.com.

The other big drive for me is to get the iSkin products in retailers so you can do the looky/touchy thing before buying. If any UK iPod retailers are reading then please email me and send me your details - I will make sure you will be glad you did!

I'm loving my ipod in its cool Ice case - looks really good!

The whole process of ordering was so smooth, I've put another order in - now I'm going for a Jack-O (my gf has the frosted white-ish one on her g2 10gig, so I've got to go for something different - and she can't get one in that colour for hers - mwah ha ha haaaaaaaaa!) :D

btw - lint/fluff/whatever isn't a problem at all on mine - its been in my jeans pocket for two days now, and any that was on there just brushes off. Great stuff!

I second that...on a side note WTF is lint and why does every Ipod owner seem to be drowing in this mysterious substance?

I never have had a lint problem - even on my new Asphalt eXo! I was half expecting to have to shave it.

Lint seems to be a peculiarly American problem. Can we assume that it resembles what we commonly refer to in England as "fluff"?

Having spent some time reading through the posts today I have ordered 2 exo skins and 3 different shades for under ?38 through Lajo's site - looks like a bargain to me. Now it is just a race to see whether I actually get an ipod , which is on back order, before the skins arrive !( ok I did get carried away lol) Sounds as if it may be a close run thing :)

I ordered pearl and skylite covers with 3 shades - light indigo, rose and I am ashamed to say I have forgotten what the 3rd colour was - I hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere but there were discounts for ordering a number of items 10% for 4,15% for 5- being Scottish I ordered the 3rd shade just to take advantage and get the larger discount ! It actually made the order cheaper.
Will post some pictures when I get them since I found those really helpful when making my mind up.

We have a reputation - quite , quite undeserved of course for being ummmmmmm 'careful with money' - sounds a little better than mean !! lol

Lajo, what's the compensation offer ? I have just got my Ice iSkin and now want another (fantastic little things!) should i hold off ordering ? Oh and will the new skins have 40GB on the back for us luck people with the new iPods ;-)

someone told me it is possible but i must be something wrong then because it won't work does the uk distributor also send to belgium because i think if it comes from hong kong i will have to pay customs

reecie - simply unscrew and remove the bolt that the beltclip goes on to.
