Home-made case?
I'm leaving for a trip to europe in 2 days with my new 15gb ipod and have no case other than the one that came with it...
I am wanting to Make a case that protects the ipod from scratches and such but, unlike the stock case, does not have to be removed to play with the ipod...
any ideas or websites to checkout about this?? I know sarran wrap will work but thats alittle too flimsy, etc for me...
Thanks

# 1 Re: Home-made case?
Rather than saran wrap, I use adhesive laminate (I've always heard it called mac-tac, bought from a craft store). I got a template from here (http://www2.ocn.ne.jp/~bbshop/USA/index.html), and just cut out the adhesive and stuck it on. I use the stock case for extra protection when I keep my iPod in my purse.

I hear some people use a camera or palmpilot case that you can buy almost anywhere - whatever fits...
I also use the adhesive laminate - it's great!

any other names for this adhesive laminate? I want to buy some :)
is it hard to take off? will the buttons work if they are covered with this stuff?
thanks for the ideas
