How do You carry around your iPod?

So, for those long walks in the park/vacations/tours through the museum/etc., how do You carry around your iPod?

Do you use the beltclip? Some wrist band? Velcro it to your arm? Just hold it? Other?

Please describe your method.

I just normally use the belt clip or hold it.

ive given up on trying to keep it scratch free, so i just have it in my pocket, without any case or anything.. i would feel embarrased getting caught using some wrist band or something ;)

ill be ordering one of these deals soon:

http://www.everythingipod.com/suggest.tpl?command=search&db=dbs/products.db&cart=1053721740856219&eqSKUdatarq=w009-4747&max=1&eqAVAILdatarq=YES&eqtype1datarq=Cases%20and%20Clips

they look very stylish (ill be getting the white one) and they will protect my ipod with little added weight or size.

i also just keep it in my pocket without a case. i try not to be too violent with it, and when i put down on a table or something i put it on top of my wallet or something else as to not scratch it senseless. for the most part though, it just stays in the nude :)

I still use the included case. No problems with it so far. I'm sure there are scratches, but who cares? It delivers the music to me well :)

i carry it in my left pocket without any case. i always take care that no coins, keys, etc are in my pocket when the ipod is there.

after 2 weeks, i do have a lot of very small scratches all over the pod, but they are only noticeable in certain light conditions.

i have the old 5gb version (bought mine new 2 weeks ago for a very good sale-price) with the "real" buttons. so i can press "next song", "Pause", etc through the farbric of my pants, no need to pull the ipod out of the pocket.

i am a little concerned about the headphone-jack to break when sitting down or walking, so i?ll probably get a case some time.

I kind of like the included case. These days, I keep it inside the case, in the cell-phone pocket of my suitcase. It's a very neat pocket. :p I think if I can be bothered to get screen protectors, I would use it naked in the pocket. Scratches elsewhere don't bother me much.

I carry it in my pocket as well. I have learned to adjust the volume and use the next song button through the fabric of my jeans. It's pretty handy until someone thinks your getting horny and can't stuff rubbing yourself! If I have a bag, I'll keep my 30 gigger in their.

keeps the scratches off it and cleans it from big splotches of fingerprints
i used to use that case that came with the ipod as well as the sony bag just for extra protection... before i realised if i drop i'm stuffed anyway and if i get any scratches theres always brasso :)

I keep it on my belt in a super dooper case with belt clip from www.sfbags.com (2nd gen 10Gig touchwheel with buttons around wheel). This allows me to toss it into a soft-sided briefcase or backpack easily too without worrying about it getting scratched or damaged. Belt clip is very secure.

I keep it in my pocket usually in a bag that came with my sunglasses. You know, the really soft kind. I really dislike the included case. It isnt functional at all. I like to see the display and what I am choosing. :)

as i just put in one of my other post's, i bought the inCase belt for the iPod. definitely very cool, effective, and the little pocket fits a set of keys while jogging/blading/working out.

*ahem* the 3rd gen ipod can be worked through fabric as easily as the old ones.

As this is a predominantly case related topic I am moving it to the "Cases" forum.

I use a small wrist pack for carrying my iPod while I am riding motorcycle. Then I use iSee case while I am in office. I don't trust any case while I am on my motorcycle.

But I just put it in my pocket in Winter. No pocket for iPod in Summer.

Is there anything particularly wrong with the draw-string bag that comes with the new model iPods? 90% of my wardrobe is has cargo-pockets and I'm not particulary concerned with the iPod surviving atmospheric re-entry but I want to avoid scratches. Does the draw-string baggie help or hinder?

I wrap it in saran wrap very carefully so you don't know it is there and then predominantly keep it in my left suit coat breast pocket. On weeeknds around the yard, I use the DLO case, still keeping the saran wrap on. No sratched and no newspaper ink.
