timbuk2

I just wanted to express how happy I am with the timbuk2 case, I've finally found a case to suit my needs. :)

It attaches perfectly to the strap of a bag, is nicely lined for protection, and will hold an ipod even with a case (it fits my 20 gig ipod with its groove jacket on). I guess that means it might be a little loose for those with smaller ipods, but I think it would still be effective. It has a hole at the top for headphones, and a pocket for earbuds, and isn't bulky at all. Definitely the perfect case for city strolling.

Not to mention all of timbuk2's products are made in the US without the use of sweatshop labor, which is a big plus in my book.

Sorry, just had to share my enthusiasm for this thing, it's the first case i've really been happy with. :D

Look, I've even got crappy pictures to share (low light standing in front of a mirror, no, I didn't feel like waiting for day, my enthusiasm feels more normal at 2 am).

I have the Timbuk2 case as an interim solution until the new version of the Marware CEO Classic for the Gen3 iPods becomes available.

It's a good "slip-in" style case, that provides great protection and is rugged to boot. And you're right - the interior is very soft and easy on the iPod's exterior.

But, I really prefer a "playthrough" style case with a removable front flap so that I do not have to slide my iPod in and out of the case every time I want to use it.

Although your GrooveJacket inside of the Timbuk2 idea has me thinking. Hmmmmm...... ;)

well, a little late but this was nice to read after ordering my Timbuk2 case. it'll be a nice addition to my bag for school, as every time (without fail) when i go to my mailbox (on the bottom row of boxes) the cord gets caught under my knee and i'm left with a feeling of something (i.e. headphones) being ripped from my ear. so hooray! happy days to be had while spending money i don't have! yay grants and loans!!!! :)

I have a timbuk2 for my 20gb 3rd gen that I purchased on eBay. I haven't been able to find these cases in any of the stores. Yesterday my daughter bought herself a mini, and would like the same type of case. Can anyone recommend where I might find them?

i came home today from work to find my new timbuk2 case along with my 'revenge of the sith' t-shirt! glorious!

just adding the iPod to the case and then the case to the bag, i just know it's going to be a good fit, even if i can't see the screen and controls. but if it's a problem, i'll just get the remote. cheers!

I?m looking for something like this that will fit my 30g G3 with out removing my iSkin. Do you think the Timbuk2 will fit with the iSkin on?
Actually I was considering making my own. Something to fit the iPod with a skin on and with a separate, external pouch to hold the buds. Maybe I?ll borrow my mom?s sewing machine and go into business!:D
