Thoughts on Marware Sportsuit SLEEVE?

I am looking for a basic portective case for my 3gen iPod. I want one with a headphone pocket (I can't believe the number of cases w/o one). I seem to like the new Marware sleeve. It is a great price, protective, and is available now. Any thoughts?

I dont think it is any better then the standart ipod case. You will still have to take it out of the case all the time, to navigate. Order one of the more expensice/better mareware, or get a DLO

To be frank I think it's ugly and I hate the logo on the front. I want to admire the expensive gadget I bought not look at an expensive case...

Seems to be ideal if you're the jogging-or-biking-every-day type...

Why do the headphones hanging out look like a bad Photoshop job?

if I was going to get a case that doesn't give you access to the controls, I would personally go for the Timbuk2 case. They sell it at the Apple Store (which doesn't rip you off on s&h charges like all these manufacturers do), and it looks better. Very high quality "ballistic" like nylon, as opposed to neoprene. I actually bought this case a few days ago, but I'm returning it to the Apple store tommorrow. I thought that I could do without the controls, by creating my own playlist, but I just saw the InCase sleeve on their site. I've seen the old Incase sleeves, and know that they are pretty nice.

I agree. I'm surprised there isn't something a little more practical. I wish there was a case that i could wrap the extra remote cable around too. As for headphone, i replaced mine with the Sony MDR-EX71SL. You can hang them around your neck too. I found the Apple earbuds really uncomfortable and those darn foam things kept falling off!

You could try the MarWare Sportsuit Convertible... It has a earphone case, albeit a slightly different design that the SLEEVE. I think its a better application though, since you dont have to remove the iPod when you're using the buttons...

i was gonna get the ipod podfolio from everythingipod.com ...ordered it but canceled before it shipped.

Im gonna get the sports sleeve now becuase its exactly what I need. Something to just *carry* the ipod in to school/work and take it out when I need to use it.

It's great.

It's great. That is exactly why I wanted the sleeve. It is a great case for just protective travel and storage...and it holds the headphones.

If I wanted a case that allows iPod use while inside, then the beauty of the iPod would be hidden.
