To flap, or not to flap?
I want to buy a case, however i cannot decide if the front flap is a smart idea. Does it get to be a pain to lift off the flap every time you want to change a song? Does it make more sense to get a regular (non flap) case and never have to worry about it? Thanks for any input!

I have an extrememac case that has a flap and clear plastic underneath. I love it because the iPod's totally protected (and hidden) when closes and it's easy to keep the flap flipped over.
Just like the added protection.

i think the answer to that would be how much protection do you need for your ipod. what are you going to use it for.
the main reason for my ipod is for when i'm blade'n.... and i fall often :)
so i wanted all the protection i could get. i ordered the marware sport convertable (has the removable flap)
for just every day use i would imagine a flap wouldn't be needed... unless you're a dropper :)

Yes, it does. Check out my iPodlounge review of the CEO classic (http://www.ipodlounge.com/reviews_more.php?id=53_0_6_0_M).
The revised CEO CLassic for the new Gen3 iPods is not yet shipping, however.
