Should I get a case?
I just got my new 10Gb about 2 weeks ago adn I love the small size. I basically laminated the back in PDA protectors, but it is starting to peel off...:(
I really want a case that is protective, but does not make the iPod really frigin thick. I was looking at the marware convertible, but it looks kinda thick. I hate the iSkin, wat about the speckproducts Skin coming out. Anyone think it is any better? thanks, and any other suggestions would be helpful.
p.S: i have the newly released 10GB iPod...

My 15gb is laminated all over, even the buttons and the wheel. I am currently using Timbuk2 case until something better comes out. The case is quite small. U can't control or charge the ipod when in case, but that's why there is playlist and a remote. (Oops, u don't have a remote) I would definitely recommend getting some kind of case for it.

First of all, personally, I would recommend getting a case 100% (unless you do not care at all about protecting your iPod from scratches and other abuse).
Second, I highly recommend the Marware CEO Classic (http://www.ipodlounge.com/reviews_more.php?id=53_0_6_0_M). Since it is made of leather, instead of the Marware Convertible's neoprene, it does not add nearly as much "thickness". Since you have the Gen3 10 GB iPod, Marware has not yet released the new CEO Classic cases for the Gen3 iPods, but they should be out "real soon". You can check at Marware's Web site (www.marware.com).
Third, I am moving this thread to the "Case" subforum, since it really belongs there. ;)
