Cases made of latex?
I will be sneaking across the border (from Canada to US) on Sunday to buy a 30GB ipod & in researching cases I can't seem to find any info about whether they are made from latex or silicone (latex allergy). I emailed the everythingipod.com people about the DLO Jam Jackets but so far no response. I don't really feel comfortable pre-ordering a case if it turns out I can't use it. Anyone know if they are latex or silicone? What about other "rubbery" cases? Not really into the leather thing (vegetarian) & I find the neoprene ones too bulky/ugly. The iSee cases are cool but not much protection if I drop it. Yeah, I'm pretty picky!
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thanks!
btw, I know most companies haven't developed the new cases yet -- just asking for future reference!

# 1 Re: Cases made of latex?
The "rubber" cases that you are asking about are all made of silicone. speckproducts is supposed to be making a model of their flipstand hard case for the new ipods. I have one for my 20gb and I am very satisfied with it.
# 2 Re: Cases made of latex?
Heard back from everythingipod.com last night... I guess the DLO Jam Jackets ARE made with latex. I emailed iSkin but thus far no word. I'm pretty sure the iSkins are exclusively silicone, but I'll know soon enough.
thanks :)
