If you had to buy a new Ipod

A poll for current Ipod owners. Knowing what you know about the amount of bugs in the new model and the changes from the old model:

If you had to buy a new Ipod would you:
1)Buy a current model
2)Buy an older model(on sale at a discount)
3)Wait for new firmware updates
4)Wait for a new model.

Thanks for your advice!! This should clear up alot of confusion for the newbies out there.

DEFINATELY get an iPod... Whether you want a new one, or an old one, just get one!... They are sooo good!... Some say that they are too expensive, but who's going to be using it? You are... reward yourself. I just got a 15gb, and the flaws in the firmware are miniscule... Unless you cannot stand that the channels are switched after it comes out of sleep, then buy one...

I think that most (if not all) iPod owners will agree that it is a fantastic machine... And you cannot even think about how small it is until you have seen/held one in real life...

I would probably buy one that is on sale even if it's older model. I got my 15GB one as a refurb.

I would get the lastest iPod out at the time

If I could get a really good deal on a older generation iPod, I would probably go for it. Otherwise, I'd go for the latest generation.

I would probably wait for bug fixes, I'd like to see if they decide to start putting in a new longer lasting battery or something. Meh, I just got my iPod 2 weeks ago anyways, prolly wont need a new one for awhile.
