When your out or about do you use your iPod with or without the remote?

no way...it's only redeeming quality is that it's stylish.

The clip sucks and I can't touch it without accidentally pushing a button. Apple is known for their smart designs...this isn't one of them

i find it really useful the only thing that gets me, is when a playlist finiushes you hvae to get it out of your pocket to restart it. It needs a screen, like the sony remote sticks. and a shorter cable, i bind up the remote cable with cable ties, put the ipod in my pocket, clicp the remote on the edge of my pocket (you know what i mean). this works fine for me.

I love my remote for my new 15 GB...

then :( I lost it somehow. The whole thing was very well-thought-out.

I like it... I use it while walking in cities, but not while running... What I used to do is carry a water bottle in my hand, but now i hold on to the iPod...

lol, I didn't even get a remote for my 10 GB iPod, but I think that after going without a remote, I sure would go for one, if they wern't SO FREAKIN EXPENSIVE.

When was still constantly using my CD player, it had a remote built into the headphone wire. Like the iPod's remote, the cord was very long, and there was no display, but I managed to cope with it. As a matter of fact, I ended up using the remote more than the controls on the player. In all, while listning when walking, it would be much more convinent to use the remote than having to take the pod out of my pocket and fiddle around with it.
