Gig count stuck, other questions.

Hello. I'm loving my iPod so much. But there are so many things I'd like to know more about it. For one, my iPod's kinda messed up in the fact that the amount of space "available" has not decreased in days, even after multiple uploads of music 500 MB and up. I don't really know if this is a problem or not... it's stuck at 17.6 GB, but I know I have more on it than that. I was wondering... if you hit reset (play/pause + menu... hold for a few seconds) will it wipe out the iPod's memory? I might try this, but I don't want to lose all of my songs, as everytime that happens, I have to reload everything CD by CD because my hard drive is not large enough to hold all of the CDs on it.

So to recap:
1) Why is it stuck at 17.6 gigs?
2) If I hit reset will it wipe out my songs?

Thank you.

1. It's a known issue w/some iPods. Don't worry about it. Check the size available in Windows or your uploading program.

2. Reset will not wipe out your tunes. It's the equivalent of rebooting your PC. A Restore will wipe everything off, but you only do that w/the Updater program.

How do I check the size available in Windows or my uploading system (ephpod)? Thank you.

I think ephpod shows it at the bottom of the screen, not sure, don't use it anymore.

In Windows, just open up My Computer, right-click the iPod Drive and select Properties.
