replacement 3gapple ipods under warranty
anyone know that if my 30gig ipod 'broke' and I sent it back to apple uk and they replaced it would they send me another 30gig or would it get replaced with a 40gig?

Well if this happened, there's always the chance that they'd realise you were a dishonest toe-rag who was trying to rip them off, that your iPod hadn't 'broken' (or would guess that you had broken it) and they would therefore judge that you'd voided your warranty.
But even if you 'fooled' them, they'd send a 30 GB pod as a replacement. They still keep 5 GB pods and even scrollwheel 10 GB pods for warranty replacements.
