Battery Percent Meter

Hi,
I read an article before (god knows where) about changing a file on your iPod drive so that you get the battery level displayed as a Percent figure rather than a battery icon.
Could anyone tell me how this is done?

I wouldn't bother - I seem to recall those that did it soon undid the hack to get the old battery icon back.

But here ( http://ipodlounge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=33496) it is if you still want to do it.
