audigy platinum

with the new 30gb ipod is the audigy platinum compatable as far as the fire wire ports are concerned or do i have to buy another sound card?

I also have a SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum sound card and my new 10GB iPod works great! I wouldn't think you would have to buy a new sound card. Although, my iPod is formatted for a Mac and I'm using MacOpener (Trial Version) along with ephPod, so I'm not sure if that makes a difference

i too also have a sound balster audigy platinum, and the firewire port works fine on the new ipods. I have heard some complaints on various forums aboutt he firewire port not working at all, but this is probably due to some dumb idiots who cant wire in the front pannel :O)
