Some Songs Wont PlayBack! *software?!*

I am transfering ripped cd's onto my ipod, i have them ripped (192kbps quality) and i am having trouble getting certain songs to play. I have a 20 gig windows ipod w/ firmware version 1.2.1
Some songs on the player play fine and others, i feel the hdd reading but then it jumps around to the next good track. (The Tracks are flawless in playback on my computer!) Is this a firmware issue? or is it a copyright protection device? Let me know, i also thought it may be an error in the transfer due to the software (Music Match Jukebox 7.1) is there better software out? Or should i stick w/ this? I am a noob to the ipod but good w/ computers so u can spit some lingo @ me if u want, Just let me know what u think or if u have the Same problem! Sorry For The Noob questions, but if u could help i'd appriciate it very much!

update to 1.2.6 . maybe that will do the trick.

on the software note, i recommend ephpod ( http://www.ephpod.com/). it?s free and very simple to use. some people like media centre 9 too.

I got xplay 1.1.0 or w/e (the new one) and new firmware. The songs didn't playback correctly but i figured out it was b/c i had an older version of lame encoder. so i updated re-ripped and it works great! Thanks for ur help i am looking into ephpod!
