My songs have disappeated
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
I stupidly performed a reset (menu, play) of my windows 30gb iPod and all of my songs have disappeared (0 songs appearing, although the songs are still taking up about 10gb of disc space)
Is there any way of getting my songs back. I am away from my PC for a couple of weeks. It is possible to rectify this on the iPod itself without resorting to connecting it to a PC.

You could try another reset, but I doubt that will work. It sounds to me like you've got a corrupted iPod Database. A restore and reupload will fix it, but that's about it.
Or, if you can get to a PC w/a firwire card, you could download ephpod and use the "Rebuild iPod Database" option. That would fix it as well.

Thanks very much for the advice.
I cannot easily get to a PC with a firewire port as I'm in Greece on my jollies.
I wondered if there was a way to fix this on the iPod without having to connect to a PC. I might try and hunt down a PC to allow me to listen to tunes for the last week.
