iPod USB cable

I presume the USB cable can fit directly onto the iPod as well as the dock? And can you mount the iPod as a data drive without drivers?

2. Yes, if you are using Windows ME, 2000, or XP. Haven't tried USB on a Mac.

no need for drivers methinks. plug and play, and windows automatically detects it just as it automatcally detects the ipod as a hard drive during synching
